• To defend Bio-energetics and those who practice it.

• To undertake all research to know the nature of the empirical activities of its members and to explain the undisputed successes they achieve in all the fields which are theirs, for the well-being of the population, while contributing to the continuous training of its members.
• To maintain between all its members bonds of solidarity and sincere brotherhood.
• A retention of practitioner-trainers.
• To thereby guarantee their intrinsic qualities to everyone.
• To inform people interested in the objectives of the AFB, by the organization of conferences, meetings, congresses as well as the publication and distribution of articles, reviews and books.
• To promote the quality of training in the teaching and monitoring of continuing education.
• To promote the recognition of the profession of practitioner in Bio-energetics
• To seek all means likely to extend to the whole of the European Union an official recognition of its practitioners, already existing in whole or in part in some of its States -members.
• To represent energy therapy practitioners before local, national and European bodies.
• To watch over the observation and the respect of the charter of the practitioners in Bio-energetics.
• To ensure a dignified, loyal and honest professional exercise, the maintenance of the principles of morality essential in the performance of the professions represented and the observation, by all its members, of the rights, duties and professional obligations of practitioners of energy therapies .
• To ensure the maintenance of solidarity between its members.
